Andrew Rayel has been named the unofficial heir to the throne of trance, and he has even been suspected of one day filling the shoes of the great Armin van Buuren himself.  That’s a lot of pressure for an ordinary person, but then again, Andrew Rayel is far from ordinary.  Achieving more before his 20th birthday than many do in their entire lives, it was about time for the young talent to show what he could really do in a full-length album.

The fact that he can produce such a large volume of massive tunes without any help whatsoever is a feat in and of itself, but when he teams up with Armin for the instantly recognizable ‘EIFORYA’, the record kicks into an even higher gear.

Exceptional vocalists join the young prodigy, such as: Christian Burns, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Alexandra Badoi, Sylvia Tosun, Lira Yin, Jano, and Jwaydan.  With this record, Andrew Rayel not only realizes the talent that’s always been inside him – he also forever carves his place in trance history.

English duo Jorg Gradwohl and Neal McCluskie have made quite an impact since their Coldharbour Recordings debut almost 12 months ago. Along with their beautiful remix of Markus Schulz's single Blown Away, and remixes of their Revolution collaboration with Markus racking up plenty of plays, they are back with a new original, teaming up with one of the most in demand vocalists in the dance scene, Jonathan Mendelsohn.

The original is a feel good singalong jam for those long summer nights, and is complimented with no less than three remixes. Mr. Pit takes the tech-fused emotional route, Purple Stories ramp up the big room aggression, and Tomas Heredia sprinkles his signature trance vibes.

The icing on the cake. Just shy of 1 million Facebook followers as of this writing, Aly & Fila are about as elite as it gets.

A chance to break free. Their third studio album, ‘The Other Shore’ is the magnum opus of artists who have already reached the other side of their craft. No longer out to prove anything, Aly & Fila are free to create exactly the kind of album that they want. The most striking feature of this record is the sheer musicality of every track. Fusing instrumentation from different cultures, genres, and even eras, they’ve blended it all in a style that no one on earth could emulate.

Powerful diversity. From Aruna’s jazzy and minimal title track to ‘In My Mind’ (featuring Karim Youssef & May Hassan), the scope of this record is unimaginable. Songs like ‘Altitude Compensation’ will pull at your heart like a long-lost lover, while ‘Never Let Me Go’ (featuring Seri) is an intimate, remarkable tune made possible by inspired and magical vocals. Downtempo ‘Shine’ (with Roxanne Emery) is perfect for kicking back in peace and harmony. 

“Perfection is achieved when there’s nothing left to take away.” Very few producers would have the confidence to strip their tracks down to the bare essentials, leaving nothing left to hide. To pull this off, what’s left has to be almost inhumanly perfect - breath for breath, note for note. You couldn’t take away a single sound or a song from this record and have it be the same, and as impossible as it may seem, it’s hard to imagine Aly & Fila going anywhere but up from here.
