Following on from the recent release of his debut original demo tracks, Flight Tonight continues to diversify, with a collection of futuristic house edits, out now on Bossman Records. The edits are a nod to his inspirations and love of club music; simple A and B-sides, driven by R&B vocals over 808's and post-garage beats.
 
Stay Up is a slow-fast club track that winds its way between house and hip hop, with salacious R&B vocals and a ripping synth line that is sure to immediately encapsulate the listener.

B-sider Love Me No More channels the futuristic, UK-centric house music that Flight Tonight digs. Chopped-up, emotive R&B over buzzing neon synths and simple melodies are teamed with booming bass drops for good measure and a steady, driving pace. 

The edits give a glimpse of the direction that Flight Tonight’s sound and original production will take in early 2013.

The edits are available on Friday 19th October as a free release download via Bossman Records.

Acolyte October Mix

Having produced in side-projects for many years, Naysayer & Gilsun spent much of 2012 locked in a small, dark room working on new material of their own. Not directly sample-based like their earlier collaborations and live audiovisual show, these tracks began taking shape after many months of experimentation and screen-staring.

The pair’s first single, In Mind, features vocals from friend and collaborator Simon Lam (of Melbourne band I’lls) and is built on a range of disparate sounds and influences - aiming to create something out of the interplay between organic and inorganic sources.

Like the other tracks on their forthcoming EP (due in early 2013 on their label Bossman Records), In Mind exists somewhere between the headphones and a club, straddling the divide between late night bedroom listening-parties and the large, visceral experiences Naysayer & Gilsun want their audiovisual shows to be.
