Hailing from the south-eastern borough of Lewisham, B-Mus Khalil (real name Khalil Thompson) is a rapper/vocalist of exceptional talent. Having been compared to artists like Nas and Tupac ,B-mus raps off of his expressive emotions and how they relate to his life; real-life. Undoubtedly a veteran of his craft, he is reputable for his intricate word play and uncanny ability to deliver a story through his rhythmic versus. B-mus continues to keep listeners fixated on his every verse, every bar and every word.  
 
The beginning of  2010 saw the release of his first solo mixtape "The Art of Storytelling" and while the EP showcases his versatility and  strengths as a solo artist it is also testament to how B-mus has matured as a socially aware artist. The mixtape featured on 1XTRA's recommended top 3 tapes on 'Hood Heat' and owing the receptiveness of his fans B-Mus released the eagerly anticipated follow up mixtape- "T.A.O.S.T pt.2"  in September 2010. 'B-mus' is due to release his debut crew album, marking the lauch of he's independent record company featuring label mate 'Young Pro', 'Tony aka Montana', & R&B singer 'Kina Mone' in-tilted  "You Dun Know Its You Dun Know" out in December 2011. 
 
B-mus is the founder of the popular Hip Hop duo Toplinerz, and was responsible for hard-hitting tracks "New Day" and "They Don't Know" which both gained huge radio support and heavy rotation on Channel AKA in 2007.
He has shown great aptitude in his musical ability, using the various platforms available to him, showcasing his skills, at Jump Off, in which he beat a number of artists, making it to the semi-finals where he faced a number of talented artists including the likes of Professor Green. 

He was later approached by well-known producer Paul Waller-who has worked with, "Massive Attack" "Unfinished Symphony" and Bjork', to name a few- who saw the potential in B-Mus and worked with him to produce his first demo.  
 
Since then the young aspiring MC has gone on to collaborate with numerous artists such as Smiler, Narstie and Swiss. He has also performed alongside UK acts like Chipmunk, Sway, Devlin, Giggs, Ghetts and Wretch 32.
 
B-Mus believes in educating young people through his music and works very closely with schools and youth clubs in his local area. This young man already is and will continue to be a positive role-model for the youth of today. Make no misjudgements; a rapper like B-mus is not easy to come by.
