For some reason I have mixed feelings about jazz-rock interpretations of the Russian folk songs but the theme is magnificent and lends itself well to a sped up rhythmic approach. And it also touches me at personal level as my own grandma called Stepanida was a good singer from Volga steppe region.

BMV Trio - contemporary instrumental musical project of Sevastopol's musicians Sergey Bogdan (B) - acoustic guitar, Nikolay Magarra (M) - drums and Pavel Voronezhsky (V) - bass guitar, - all of them were members of the band Fusion Orchestra band. The aim of the project is writing and performing music, which organically combines Ambience, Meditative and Minimal.
Material for the project's album is recorded and currently being mixing and mastering. On this page the BMV Trio will meet the listeners with the new completed tracks.
