Hoy queremos presentarles a la siguiente artista invitada, la primera del año 2025, para participar de nuestra serie de podcasts. 

Malena Urbina, conocida artísticamente como CHINA, es una DJ y productora argentina que ha capturado la atención de la escena electrónica con su propuesta única. Inició su camino como DJ en 2020, impulsada por la vibrante escena local y atraída por los sonidos profundos y envolventes del Techno y el Minimal Techno.

Sus sesiones son un viaje sonoro enérgico y versátil, donde fusiona texturas hipnóticas, atmósferas intensas y notas de techno minimalista con influencias rítmicas cargadas de groove, creando una experiencia que, a su vez, se siente futurista.

A lo largo de su carrera, ha sido residente en el ciclo dECIBELES CLUB, y se ha destacado como una de las figuras clave en el crecimiento y consolidación de la escena techno de su ciudad.

Actualmente, CHINA se encuentra explorando nuevos horizontes sonoros, lo que se refleja en su primer track, “COME ON”, lanzado en el sello XELIMA RECORDS, una pieza que marca el comienzo de su identidad sonora más personal y auténtica.

Today we want to introduce the next guest artist for our podcast series, the fisrt one for the new year 2025.

Malena Urbina, known artistically as CHINA, is an Argentine DJ and producer who has captured the attention of the electronic music scene with her unique sound. She began her journey as a DJ in 2020, driven by the vibrant local scene and drawn to the deep, immersive sounds of Techno and Minimal Techno.

Her sets are an energetic and versatile sonic journey, blending hypnotic textures, intense atmospheres, and minimal techno notes with rhythmical influences full of groove, creating an experience that also feels futuristic.

Throughout her career, she has been a resident DJ at the dECIBELES CLUB cycle and has emerged as a key figure in the growth and consolidation of the techno scene in her city.

Currently, CHINA is exploring new sonic territories, which is reflected in her debut track, "COME ON", released on the XELIMA RECORDS label. This track marks the beginning of a more personal and authentic sound identity.
