Berlin´s finest Mother Recordings welcome back Catalan local PIEM from Barcelona, who is recently killing it with releases at DFTD, ORIGIN and REALM. This time teaming up with Moon Harbour´s Mønölitio from Colombia for the sexiest summer record in 2022.

Sunshine is beautiful House jam, full of warm piano chords and happiness. The groove puts a big smile on your face, on top the iconic voice of Mønölitio. Oh yes, we all got sunshine in our mind to feel right!

This is an EP that has come together beautifully while getting to work with amazing vocalists like Ingrid Hakanson and Icausetreble and producers like Swavé. This EP couldn't have landed in a better place than with Desert Hearts. One of my favorite labels with my favorite roster of djs and producers. DH was a crew that before the pandemic I was working towards wanting to release with them and then when the pandemic hit, it really gave me more time for production and learning even more. Fast forward to today and that dream has been reached, but we ain't stoppin!

Lubelski and Wyatt Marshall band together yet again for a 3 track release titled Take A Trip.

The title track leads the release with magnetizing piano melodies flickering among the acid rubbed bass tones and vibrant percussion workings—inviting ears and feet to ‘Take A Trip’ as its name suggest.

’Wake U Up’ follows with wiggling analog bells, a sassy vocal, and rolling subs that’s a definite wake up call for any floor.

Finally, the two round out the EP with a more minimally charged tune, toting a subdued yet demanding sub bass and fluttering shudders of analog percussion culminating in a chugging and thrashing groove.

What's Up Desert Hearts Family,

We are proud to welcome Dantiez into the Desert Hearts fold with his new Holla Back EP.

Dantiez is one of the artists with legacy ingrained in his blood. As the son of one of House and Techno's original founding fathers, Dantiez has certainly taken dance music into his own hands and made a name of his own.

The release features two tracks, Holla Back and La Luna. The title tracks kicks things off with to the point drum grooves circled by twisted sirens, dark plucks, and a nonchalant bass line. 

Dantiez follows up with the help of close friend Bensworth on La Luna — channeling a deeper  with world music percussion, topped off by emotive chords and swelling synths. 

We're happy to have Dantiez join the fray with this release.
