This song has many Buddy Holly metaphors. I wrote it to encourage my son to seek out the Holly Spirit of the Church of Rock N Roll as he ventures ahead with his own musical ideas and to tell him how much I love him, but the song can be about any buddy at all and that's the beauty part.

Sing With Me

The Jodie Boys headed up by Bo Phillips and Dave Rust are looking to have the full CD L8 Boomers out for the world by Aug. 16th 2014 if not sooner. Sing with Me was begun while Bo was watching Live Aid in 1985 and was completed in 2012 thanks to Dave Rust and his keen insight. Other tunes include RainDance produced earlier in 2013 along with B-Movie, Norman's Galoshes (A kind of weird tune) and I Call You Buddy 3-D which Bo wrote for his son but he feels it applies to anyone he calls "buddy".
