Short Overview of what to expect from Boa Chitta.
Boa Chitta is a music artist from Derry in Northern Ireland. Growing up in the 80's Boa acquired an eclectic taste in music, loving Top of the pops as a kid and the radio being a constant background friend. Boas' house was always filled with music as her mum without fail brought home a huge handful of LP singles every single week remembering singers such as Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Kate Bush, Prince, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar, Sinead O Connor, Bonnie Tyler and bands such as Queen, Duran Duran, The Bangles, The Police, Eurythmics, Talking Heads, Depeche Mode and Blondie just to name a few.
 As a young child no more than 5 years old , Boa decided to learn the guitar and was always trying to rope her friends into starting bands in order to perform live on her favourite show Top of The Pops. This would only ever be a pipe dream as post war Derry in the 80's had very little opportunities for anyone at that particular time, never mind a young child wishing to be a super star.
As a teen Boa jumped on board the 1995 wave of amazing female artists that took the world by storm. Inspired by females such as Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, Kathlene Hanna, Skin from Skunk Anansie, Tori Amous and of bands such as Pixies and The Cranberries. 
Nowadays Boa has grown to love meditative practices such as Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga and other holistic healing practices like sound baths and Holotropic breathwork, all of which have brought massive healing benefits to Bao over the recent years. Through these practices Boa has learned so much more about music on a completely different scale. Fascinated by the science behind the power of frequency, tones and vibration, Boa hopes to incorporate this knowledge through her music.
 Boas' music reflects a message of deep healing and growth through inner child connection. Comparing our world today like a matrix, Boa promotes spiritual evolution through the shedding of our old selves like the snake sheds its skin by stepping out of our deeply programmed selves that dwell lost and dismayed in a  society and a world that can feel severely unjust and broken. From this new standing point we cultivate new perceptions of reality and new ways of being.  Through music, creative and loving connection with mother earth, Boa Chitta urges us to stay grounded and rooted in strength and excitement, whilst aligning with cosmic intelligence (chitta) through our own chi and higher power.
From this perspective we continue to heal and evolve.
Boa will be recording her 1st debut ep/album this October 2023 with global record producers Andy Wright and Gavin Goldberg who have both co produced and engineered artists such as (Chrissie Hynde, Jeff Beck, Imelda May, Simple Minds, KT Tunstall) and many many more.
