For his debut album, London based producer Giles Inara presents a coming of age story unlike any other. Referencing a series of interviews given by Kurt Cobain, Flora Inure timelines the struggles and triumphs that come with entering adulthood. Across multiple decades, past recollections give way to music as one guides another through an unbreaking series of events. Side by side, Giles remembers his own life through Kurt's words while soundtracking their mutual feelings and experiences. Intimate moments are amplified to often epic proportions as the songs twist and turn, growing steadily towards their conclusion before being quietly replaced. Shifting moods, the album turns otherworldly as it contemplates what is lost and found in the passing of time. Naively hopeful, let down, euphoric and angry; in its contradictions Flora Inure is electronic music that feels deeply human.

Boards of Canada is a Scottish electronic music duo comprised of brothers Mike Sandison (b. 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (b. 21 July 1971). 

They have released a number of works, most notably Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi, with little advertising and few interviews. Their sound has frequently made reference to sounds of the 1970s and the 1980s. It recalls, amongst other things, the warm, scratchy, artificial sounds of 1970s television, and indeed, band members Michael and Marcus admit to being inspired by the documentary films of the National Film Board of Canada, from which the group's name comes.
