Once or twice a week the band comes together in their studio. The goal is always; Let’s do a song a day. Of course this doesn’t always happen (a riff or a melody or lyric is the easy part, to make it a whole.., a story From beginning to end, that’s the work), with Affluence it did. We’re proud this came up one winter sunday afternoon.

Bob Billy is a three-piece band based in Amsterdam. The thing that makes this power trio unique is that they have no drummer! By building their own beats their alternative and catchy pop songs remind a little of Depeche Mode, with an old school Beastie Boys underbelly feeling.

Bob Billy has won several prizes: 
Rob Acda Award and ParoolPopprijs

Bob Billy played the big venues of Holland, such as:
Paradiso, Melkweg, Patronaat, Het Paard, Vera, Dijkpop Festival and many, many bars in both Holland and Germany.

Bob Billy can’t be overlooked by March 2015 when ‘Bloed, Zweet en Tranen’ enters cinemas all over Holland, about the life of one of Holland’s most famous singer Andre Hazes. They are to be recognized as his band within the early years of Andre Hazes, just before and after his great break through.

In the summer of 2014 Bob Billy was noted fourth in the Top 40 of Indie Charts.
