This is my first experiment with the brand new Logic Pro X. Ironically, it was written 'way back before my hair was fallen ribbons. This is a rhythmically rather free ballad about separation. Time passes and before you know it old loves become icons of what if.

All sounds are from Logic Pro, and I used their new Flex Pitch. Not bad at all.

A song in the doo-wop tradition featuring our old friends Salamander and Gecko.

Dewlap Love

Written for a dear soul dealing with ambiguous romantic feelings. It was part of an album of 12 songs, a "zodiac" of different styles: comic, country, ballad, instrumental, rock, etc. This 13th song came unbidden and ended the album. In the end, she made her choice and all was fine. "I trust the road." 

In The End

A love song. Performed on the Yamaha PSR3000, multitracked and produced in Pro Tools, and mastered on the iPad (!) using the new AudioMastering app.

Cielo [RM]

A love song about a traveling companion. Lyrics and vocal by Donna Rhodes, music and arrangement by Bobbo Goldberg. Drum track from an old vinyl called "Drumtrax." Recorded multitrack with the Yamaha DX7, remastered in Audio Mastering on the iPad. 

Come In Old Friend

Lyrics and music mostly by my co-writer Annod Sedohr, who also did the vocal. I added only the bridge, and rearranged and performed it as a blues number. Recorded nearly 30 years ago in my production studio, backing drum track from "Drumtrax" LP, the rest courtesy of the Yamaha DX7 synthesizer. Remastered and cleaned up in Audio Mastering on the iPad. Not entirely SFW, but mostly. If the kids hear it, you'll have some explaining to do. :) 

Mister Buttershoes

An unabashed 40's style, easy listening/lounge jazz fusion number. It's dedicated to my dear friend and collaborator, Donna, who's been true blue to me, her students, life and its exigencies. Wish I had the Michael Bublé or Seth MacFarlane pipes it needs, but you'll get the idea. Yamaha PSR 3000 multitracked in Pro Tools for those who like to know such things.

A jazzy ballad about those twins, romance and confusion.

Don't Know How To Thank You

This song was written a long time ago, forty years, in fact. Still, it remains one of my favorites. It was written for a departing, very dear friend who, after all these years, is still remembered fondly.
