A very strong song, the voice sits well in the brisk guitar strumming, the pleading apt in this hard world, intimate emotions in the voice need just a touch of separation from being swollowed up into the chord progression, is the only improvement I can think of.  Love the intro, nice flat picking, well controlled would like more.  It felt short, as if I wanted it to go on much longer, that is a sign of a great song, when you want it longer.  Well done.
