Kreata-Biography                                         __________________________ 

Lyricist/Music Producer/Song writer Bobby Baldwin, better known as Kreata, was Born laced with GOD given talent running through his blood stream. From a youth he played multiple instruments & attended the “Newark Boys Chorus School” where he got the opportunity to perform a concert in “Carnegie Hall” sung in Japanese. For more than 3 decades Kreata has been on the music scene as an underground Artist. It all started in 1983 when Kreata began his ambitious journey to become the best! His talents really started to show through when he formed the “Fascinating Two” with his partner. As the groups popularity expanded so did the group, which then became a four man crew called “High Tech MC’s” 
Things began to change in 1986. Kreata began to appear in video’s like “South Bronx” by BDP and “Soul Sister” by Finesse & Sequence”. He performed in these video’s not as a lyricist, but as a dancer. Although lyrics is his first love, his versatility allowed dancing to become a creative outlet.        2 years later, the queen of rap, “Queen Latifa” handpicked Kreata of CO-Wilden dancers to be her stage presence and combined with Fab Five Freddy to co-choreographed dance scenes in “Queen Latifa’s” “Dance For Me” video. Realizing his many talents, Kreata shared his creativity, took a leadership role and choreographed other groups like Constant Groove and Pizzazz.
As the blood pumps through his veins so did his creative versatility, this native from East Orange, N.J. with ties to Brooklyn, N.Y. Launched “GKing Productions”, his first home studio project. Starting out with just a double cassette deck, record player, hundreds of records(collected), 8 track Tascam board, Gemini digital sampler and Yamaha keyboard. The “House that Kreata Built” began to mount up! Being apart of the conscious movement but still eyes opened to the street life! Friendships with Da La Soul, Jungle Brothers, and Latifa opened up more street notoriety.
In 1993 Kreata and one of his mentors, Steven A. Tucker a.k.a. The STR180 connected with “Survival Sounds” while the band was promoting and playing their album in the Village in N.Y. They began recording in their studio in Brooklyn and performing live shows with the band until 1999. An album was recorded with a Japanese company called “Felissimo titled, “The Sounds of N.Y.” Stepping into the millennium, Kreata’s production moved to Miami soon after his arrival he met and began to produce such artist as “Ace Ron” and “Sun Jai”, explosive down south artist. He went to Atlanta from there, where a humble female artist “Tricee”  joined the team and by 2005 he had become a member of ASCAP and released a double CD “Only God Knows” and “Stellarship Live” 
A courageous jump to St.Thomas U.S.V.I. was his next move, where he set up his first ever stand alone studio. A Dream come true a blessing from GOD, he would go on to say, God’s timing is the best timing. Over the last few years from 2016-present Kreata has established “FREE YOUR SOUL PUBLISHING” company through ASCAP, and “DragonEye.Crabshack Production studio. Continuing his versatility, his new catalog  exemplifies inspirational vibes (lyrically) with his own musical sound.                                                                                                                                                                The often fun and comedic music producer/song writer and CEO of Free Your Soul Publishing. Says that he’s always been entwined with musical energy, for as long as he can remember, it’s always been an element of my basic character. Entertainment is in my bloodstream, wanting to reach people with a lyric, a drum, or a laugh he only wishes to lift the world up through song.
