Found a few things that haven’t been heard in awhile...
Throughout the many times - off and on for over 33 years - I was employed at KFRC, under the legal fiction, Bobby Ocean, I worked quite a bit with a friend on the engineering side of the glass who "crossed over” into the show-off side, George Zema. Before Doctor Don Rose came to town and took him for himself, George and I worked together. I don’t have to tell you about the success of Doctor Don’s Morning Show, but I may have to remind you it was George who made all those crazy sounds suddenly “surprise” the good Doc. The little voice that said, “That’s right, Doctor Don!”, the ever-inebriated “Waldo,” breaking glass, scratching records, barking dogs, bells and whistles and everything else in the Sound Effects Library was George’s domain. He did Doctor Don’s sound. Yep, records, too, of course. 
George was a guy with an audio imagination - he could hear it in his head before he made it happen. He was also gifted in the broadcast Production Room, where the blending together of the announcer with music and sound effects was done in a stylized fashion for a more dynamic presentation. KFRC, known for on-air Heavy Artillery, had a big budget for the best Production music, too. 
So, here’s a team at the peak of their powers, goofing off and having fun creating a promo that you will hear George assisted Ocean in writing, then jump across into the announce booth to help him in pronouncing, all for laughs. 
But it was so funny we put it on the air.
