While attending the 2013 Nashville Songwriters Festival on Music Row, I was scheduled to play at a local dive bar, Bobby's Idle Hour.  Legend has it that this was the favorite hangout of Kris Kristoferson when he was writing songs in Nashville.  It's been a favorite hangout for many songwriters for 30 years or so.  When I arrived to play the door was locked.  And while I was waiting to see if someone would open up I wrote this song.
