1. How did your musical journey begin?

I started making beats when I was fourteen. Some kids at my high school were doing it and they inspired me to pick it up. I quickly got very into it and eventually we started throwing little raves in my hometown of Fresno, CA so that we could blast the music we were obsessing over.

2. For those who are just being introduced to the world of flirty800, how would you describe your current sound as heard in this debut mix? 

Sexy and playful. 

3. How has the underground rave scene impacted you as an artist? Is there any party in particular that had a major impact?

I always get inspired by music I hear out. I'm equally informed by a more underground sound and by a “Gay” one I think. It's fun to toe that line. 

4. Favorite piece of DJ advice you have ever received?

Don't overthink it…

5. A few of your edits have become quite popular as of late? How does it feel to see your music start resonating with more fans?

Fab!! Though my biggest hit on soundcloud is almost 10 years old and I still hear it played out sometimes which I love. 

6. Can we expect an official project release sometime soon?

Yessss. I love to do remixes and edits but I'm really excited to put out some original music soon.

7. If you weren't pursuing music, what would you be pursuing right now?

I think interior designer or personal trainer.

8. Tell us something people typically get wrong about you?

Hmm.. maybe that I'm a dumb meathead? I mean, they're not totally wrong.

9. Most played track of all time?

Probably something by @vapordog.

10. Dream collaboration?

Britney Spears always has such cool beats and I'm sure the session would be fun. I loved my most recent collab with @fatalbert69 and we're definitely gonna do more. Also a duo project with DJ USA where we play all the biggest circuit parties worldwide. 

11. What's next for you?

An aggressive bulk. More music and more DJ'ing. I'd love to play outside the US again. Excited to come play in LA :) xo
