When I listen to him speak or I read his speeches, I think his words are chosen to make us to fear one another and doubt the value of science and diversity. Even if he never accomplishes any of the plans he's proposed, I think Trump represents a handful of corporate and political power players who have sneakily claimed more and more power away from average Americans over the last century. I think people like Trump hoard resources, then convince us our problems are caused by immigrants and poor people. The 20 richest Americans have more money than the 152 million poorest Americans. To me, that widening power imbalance is the scariest threat our country faces, not people who look or talk different from me.
