I am a professional musician who specialises as a guitarist within the roots genre’s of blues, country and folk.

Robert Johnson is also a member of Motel Sundown and is an instrumental tutor at Liverpool University.

Since graduating with a 1st class Degree, Robert has worked in many functions as a musician; as a performer, writer, teacher and occasional producer.

Robert has had experience playing Festivals in the UK and touring Europe, (including support slots for Iggy Pop) as well as making and releasing numerous records with various projects. As well as extensive gigging experience Robert has also written songs and arranged material for artists, including Ginger Baker’s Airforce, and worked as a session guitarist and co-producer.
