This was my very first attempt using Ableton to record, arrange, mix and uploud to SoundCloud.  Sounds easy. It wasn't.  But I stuck with it and good things are happening,

EVERYTHING was recorded using MIDI with my Godin Montreal HollowBody Guitar  (seen in photo) using  built in Fishman Triple Play Wireless MIDI guitar controller.  Drums were finger drummed using original Push.  I now have Push 2.  Ableton is the coolest DAW if you have patience to figure it out. Once you understand clips, creative power of session view,  being able to use Ableton in a live gig to control soft synths from your guitar, along with straight analog tones, you will understand my excitement.  

I love feedback, good or bad,  That's only way you grow as a musician so feel free to leave any type of constructive comment.  

I live right outside NYC and looking to put a project together with other musicians as I want to combine MIDI & analog by using musicians combined with technology.

Greetings fellow music lovers.  Bobbyd from NYC sending good energy your way.  I am in process of creating a new original sound that combines the analog & digital world eliminating boundaries. This synergy allows musicians who play the "computer" to coexist with traditional musicians.  This is going to manifest itself in Austin TX.   I am a heavy blues rocker who also loves EDM.  Ableton is my new playground.  MIDI guitar my new inspiration. Every sound you hear on Fresh Socks  is coming from the guitar I have in photo using built in wireless MIDI pickup controlling  soft synths inside Ableton.  I can also take the analog guitar signal and plug into  tube amp, and rock out like Hendrix. . Or combine MIDI and analog..
