Electronic musician Robert Feltman first studied electronic music composition in 1971 while a music student at the Stony Brook University Electronic Music Studio (with Yale's Bülent Arel). The Studio boasted a Buchla 200 modular synthesizer along with an array of reel to reel tape recorders. Those were the days of the avant garde usage of electronic synthesizers and aside from "Switched on Bach" and usage by Keith Emerson the modular synth was yet to attain accepted usage in popular music outside that of novelty. Feltman later studied classical composition, conducting, renaissance recorder, flamenco guitar and many other musics and musical forms. His new album, "Through The Static", will be released in late September of 2015.
