Hannulelauri have lain silent for more than half a decade, the Finnish duo made of Hannu Nieminen and Lauri Soini seeming to have disappeared into musical memory. But thankfully this is not the case. Resurrected, the pair return with a quartet of space inspired disco from their vaults. Starting off with the warming plinks of “Earth”, the duo then dazzle with the laser show of “Crossing”. The flip keeps the goodness flowing. “Blinds” strips back basslines to let bright bars and strings shine before the playful whimsy of “Dream” closes. Tracks from a decade ago and still sounding as fresh as ever.

During the summer of 2012 we were asked to create and perform a song live at the Tate Modern for the ISYS & NTS project, Paved With Gold - A  City Symphonic. This is that song, an original composition inspired by an afternoon out and about in London. Every element of this track was composed from field recordings we made around the city.
