Mix I did for the amsterdam based Rush Hour recordings. The recording is based on the new concept CHICAGO DANCE TRACKS. CHICAGO DANCE TRACKS is a compilation album concept filled with lost tracks and rarities from the Chicago's dancefloors.... will be soon available at Rush Hour! To celebrate this the 18th of March 2011 there's a party at Trouw with Gene Hunt. I'm doing the warm up and San Proper is closing the night. 

This mix contains tracks from Marcus Mixx, Obsolete Music Technology, Armando, Ra.H, Patrice Scott, Virgo, Larry Heard and DJ QU amongst other new and old stuff. Enjoy!

This mix is very special to me as it is dedicated to the honor of the late great J Dilla. I made this to showcase the versatility & amazing quality of work from one of the greatest producers of all-time. 
   From emerging from the gritty city of Detroit to showcasing his genius to the entire world before his passing at age 32, Dilla (also known as Jay Dee) always kept his love for all forms of music front and center. It's my honor and duty to continue to push music forward and keep his memory alive with everything I have in me. 
       I will post a tracklist soon but I want you all to just engulf the mix and embrace the rhythms. Music can truly change lives and we all must be creative in every aspect of our lives. Word to Dilla.
