Fuse is a disco at 208 rue Blaes in the Marolles district of the Belgian capital Brussels. The business was opened in 1994 and has a capacity of 800 people.

The location of the current Fuse initially housed a neighborhood cinema that changed its name several times: Cinema Blaes (1925-1933), Cinema Iris (1934-1940) and finally Cinema R.A.F. (1947-71). Later Le Disque Rouge, a disco where many Spaniards came here. This business was taken over by the West Flemish Thierry Coppens and Peter Decuypere, who turned it into disco Fuse in 1994.

Coppens has organized the gay party La Demence since 1989, which has taken place every month in the Fuse since then. Together with Decuypere he saw a bright future for the music genre techno and the Fuse became one of the best techno clubs in the world. The business was also named best club in Belgium by the Belgian entertainment magazine Nightcode and DJ Pierre as the best Belgian resident DJ.

Peter Decuypere left Fuse in 1997 to focus on his event I Love Techno in Ghent. Thierry Coppens sold discotheque Fuse at the end of 2007 to his friends Nick Ramoudt and Dominique Martens in order to dedicate himself entirely to La Demence.

In 2013, Fuse, as the best Belgian discotheque, finished 34th on the DJ Magazine's list of 100 best clubs in the world. Fuse was praised for its timelessness and quirky character and "the new lasers and LED screens describe the location as a place where ET would feel at home."

En nuestra estancia en Barcelona hemos conocido a grandes artistas que lo dan todo por la música, que después de trabajar ocho horas se encierran en el estudio; que les faltan horas en el día pero aún así luchan por lo que les apasiona; que aportan su granito de arena por una sana y mejor escena y que, además, trasmiten buena vibra, compañerismo y humildad. Por todo esto y mucho más, nuestro amigo Juan Evangelista se une a nuestras filas firmando el 108º podcast de nuestra serie.

Juan acaba de volver de una de las giras por las que ha estado marcado este último año, esta vez por Canadá visitando las ciudades de Montreal y Toronto, cogiéndole el testigo al gran Freddy K en una de estas noches y marcándose un cierre con discos que perdurará en el recuerdo. Recientemente ha tenido la oportunidad de debutar en ciudades como Nueva York, Phoenix junto a Dimi Angélis, México junto a DVS1 y también en Colombia y Chile. Además, Evangelista también se está dejando ver cada vez más por cabinas berlinesas.

En su vida en Barcelona, a parte de estar metido de lleno en la movida y haber recorrido cabinas como las de Moog, The Garage o Macarena, Juan dedica la mayor parte de su tiempo a producir música, y esta dedicación fue premiada hace poquito con su último EP “Equilibrium” publicado en Tremsix, sello de Jonas Kopp y cual EP incluye un remix de este. También ha lanzado múltiples referencias en sellos como Default Series Records, Enux o Abstrakt. 

El ímpetu y groove que definen a Juan, mientras está siendo leal a los principios del techno clásico, busca inspiración en las profundidades del ambient y en los ritmos arcaicos. Esta mezcla hace que sus sets sean temerarios y altamente bailables.

Active since 1997, Exos has released three albums and more than twenty singles, along with collaboration with the likes of Steve O'Sullivan, Ben Sims, Mark Broom and Dj Rush and Nina Kraviz. In 2017 Exos is opening his own label called "Invisible Limits" (IVl) releasing music from friends, favorites and himself. He has also been responsible for a large and diverse back catalogue of releases on a wide variety of labels and projects around the World. His discography stretches to almost 100 releases on vinyl, CDand as MP3. His DJ schedule has taken him to all corners of the World.
