Gaztambide is a DJ, live act, and producer (Night Tales of Crete) based in Amsterdam, with roots in Málaga, Spain, where the early 2000s breakbeat scene shaped his musical foundation.

After moving to Barcelona, Gaztambide was drawn into the city’s vibrant nightlife and thriving electronic music community, where inspired by the city's underground artists he found his way into the world of Techno. His name also pays tribute to his great-grandfather, Joaquín Gaztambide, a renowned classical composer.

Today, Gaztambide continues to build his career as a producer and live performer. In Amsterdam, he has played at iconic venues like Radion and De School, as well as major festivals like Liquicidy and Landjewel. His sets, marked by thick kicks, organic textures, and subtle percussion, reflect his breakbeat background.

In addition to his solo work to further fuel his creative drive, he collaborates with well known collectives in the scene such as New Era, Disturbia, and Ypnotika, constantly exploring new sounds and pushing genre boundaries. With his unique blend of sounds and textures, Gaztambide creates sets that are as colorful as they are hypnotic, always keeping the dance floor moving and evolving.
