I'm sure someone has most definitely already made this before but I really don't care, wanted to try my hand at it anyway.
I aimed to keep the instrumentation close to the original while throwing in some differences and of course more accurate notes. Kinda limited with 2A03 but what else are ya gonna do about it?

[2A03, Hummer Team] SMW NES Overworld but slightly more accurate

10 month edit: I really didn't include a single percussive clap in this entire track [actual facepalm]

5 Month edit: I'm on the fence about the mixing during the crescendo. It's definitely weird, and I think that may also be in part because, aside from the brass section, the instrumentation in this track is much more centric to synths and electronic sounding shit than acoustic. I can't really describe the vibe it gives me but I do praise it for being different. I've concluded that a lot of my crescendos sound embarrassingly similar, down to the pitch-bends of my favorite synth, accompanied by same guitar, super muted bass,  slightly varied drums here and there, and some details. This has been a retrospective by Isaac baked as a potato.

The origin of this was I thought about how similar one's imitation of Whitty sounds to the U'rAAHNK sound Kremlings make when you stomp them. I had the incredibly kek idea of making this after I remembered DKC has multiple samples of different vowels, and covering this with that in mind sounded like a lot of fun.

I made this with 64-bit c700 in FL, and made sure to never exceed the 8 voice limit. I'm sure it could be optimized further, though. Anyway, I also quoted Diddy's stage victory theme for this (and some of the mixing decisions are a reference to it as well). Maybe you can guess where.

Yesterday I accidentally made this public for about 10 whole minutes, but because it was 1:00pm none of you people saw it. YOU BLEW IT
