Although I used my first guitar like a sword to fight my brother Vic, it was The Beatles’ ‘White Album’ that made me realise at the age of 10 that they’re made to play music on. A single string version of Bungalow Bill kicked off my musical career. Later, influenced by the 1960’s British blues boom, The Steppin’ Stones became the first band I formed at the age of 14. This lasted during high school, while also focusing on being the leading figure for the school’s band. Privileged to be my father’s son, I joined the reunion of 80’s BelPop band Toy which, unfortunately, didn’t last as long as it should have. Nowadays, I’m the songwriter and lead guitarist in a new rock band that’s called Guilty Feet and I play the bass in a spin-off of the Belpop band Toy, called Feet Below His Knees.

One constant factor has always been songwriting and in the tradition of Cole Porter over Allen Toussaint to Leiber & Stoller and Lennon & McCartney, I try to write musically rich arranged and well-thought-out songs that may remind of the likes of Bob Dylan and Neil Young onwards to Jeff Tweedy, Elliot Smith en Alex Turner.
