Can’t describe how I feel listening to this song. A mixture of loneliness and serenity.

No matter where I go, no matter how much I hide and no matter how much I run, I can't escape my past. I remember it ALL. I'm scarred from the darkness that lies in it. And I'm exhausted from the years of trying to run from it. There is no escape.

On loop... She was the best and beautiful thing in my whole life, I will never ever forget how I felt with her and how much I love her . I wish the best for her where ever she is going.

Ambient music like this makes me think of a simpler time. My old home, where I, a curious child, would go out in my backyard during those dark, cold winter nights. Where I would hang out in the basement, gazing at the window that revealed what was in my drain pipe. Simply admiring those warm lamps with my doll. I want to go back. I really do.
