Remade this a while ago. Figured now's the right time to upload this. I know some of ya'll might hate me for doing this, but this was, is and will be my favorite Dilla beat. Was listening to Herbie that day, and the thought of doing this remake just wouldn't let me be... I do these things every now and then, these classic beat remakes I mean, just for the fun of it. I dig for the right samples and just have my fun with it. And belive me, it takes a lot of skill and effort to do this. I'm sure/know many other beatmakers do this as well. Cheers! We remember when we first heard this track on JuSoul's 'ROCK BOTTOM' release & instantly fell in love. J Dilla's 'Think Twice' is one of our favorite tracks of all time by Dilla so when we heard this it hit us right in the chest. 

JuSoul is all the way from Germany and it's very inspiring to hear him create future-soul music. With all the new forms & different sounds coming out in the world, it honestly feels great to hear someone still creating this style of sound. Look out for JuSoul to drop an EP with us in the future. Not to mention he has a track on the Soulection Compilation Vol. II.

so i made this track on my phone using koala sampler with Lo-Fly dirt and Fly Tape apps for added knock and texture. This beat reminds me of the days of going to club Unity in mid 90's and watching all the dance circles with freestyle dancers. So I want to do a different challenge this time instead of a sample flip. I want to incorporate a challenge for the dancers to record a video using this beat using the hashtag #dibifreestyledancechallenge on iG. Darealdibiase IG
