TWENTY SIX's version of "Stan" is one of our biggest records of recent times. Despite not setting the sales charts alight on release, it has grown into a cool AF party record that you hear everywhere, from underground basements to Fisher roadblocks. We love that version but wanted a deeper, more emotional mix to warm the dancefloor and tug the heartstrings, so we asked Kevin McKay to add his touch. And boy, did he deliver. Empire of the Sun's "Walking On A Dream" is one of the songs of our generation. It may not have been the band's biggest hit on release, but it has grown into an absolute monster since then. Kevin McKay's 2019 edit of it has been a dancefloor favourite since he first tested it out at his I Feel Love parties at Mick's Garage (now Colour Factory) in Hackney. Over the last five years, the DJ support for this killer rework has grown exponentially. This support culminated in a final play of the Music On season 2023 by Marco Carola. Clips of this have been shared on social media millions of times. With this amount of groundswell, we asked Simon Ellis back after his stellar performance on "Somebody That I Used To Know", and Kevin has rebuilt a backing with 2024 in mind (while still keeping the magic of that original edit). So now, for all the DJs asking, here is Kevin's version of "Walking On A Dream".

Roxelio and Habbo Foxx are two DJs and producers from the North of England. York-based Roxelio has built a solid foundation of deep and minimal house cuts for tastemaker imprints like Whoyostro and Snake Beat. Leeds-based Habbo Foxx's sound is more wide-ranging; he's had streaming success with piano-fuelled vocal bangers mixed with club-focussed driving tech-house grooves. Together, they have brought us "Open Your Mind", a wickedly infectious deep pumper with gorgeous stabs and a hooky-as-hell vocal that reminds us of early 90s techno.
