In The Bleak Midwinter

This is a recording of the first performance of Boscombe Suite Boscombe. It was the culmination of ten weekly workshops commissioned by The Co-operative through Vita Nova and the sound track for a film commissioned by Untold Boscombe from Sarer Scotthorne. The performers included both those in recovery and those not. Some were musicians with previous experience and  ability on instruments others had none. The process started with no expectations other than the need for a public performance of whatever the group produced. The musical director and co-composer was Andrew McCutchion with the rest of the performers being Paul Hawkins (Bass), Scott Laverne (Guitars) , Roy Humby (Guitars) John Lee (Guitars), Stephen Pearson (Percussion), Paul Fee (percussion, ukelele) Gemma Alldred (vocals, percussion, voice on second monologue) Libby Bellhouse (vocals, percussion, opening monologue)Sharon Fee (vocals,percussion, voice on "round and round") Special note to co collaborators who did not perform include Dave Walker, Kyle Nuttal, Jane Cartwright and Simon Humby. The recording on the evening was made by David Nock of Red Onion. A special thank you to Sound Solution Dorset for help with the equipment.

Just messing around.... it's an unusual melody for all sorts of reasons and thought this version worked.
