Andrey Sirotkin (@andreysirotkin) is an electronic music producer and dj from Kyiv, Ukraine.
In 2013, after 6 years of experiments with sound and music of different genres Andrey focuses on techno with his new project Shade Of Drums.
2022 started for Andrey with with the attack of russia on Ukraine.
Despite the terrible things that were happening around, the artist continued to work his music and to express his feelings with art.
After returning to Kyiv from western part of Ukraine Andrey started his own radioshow at capital-based new radio @gasolineradio called "Against The Grain" which is dedicated to non-mainstream, deep, atmospheric and experimental electronic music.

On October 6, the experimental @mystictrax label will release the audio-visual electronic album "Peretyn" (Ukr: Crossing) by the Kyiv artist @andriikunin.

Peretyn is a Ukrainian word for crossing. A crossing point to a new reality that stormed the entire world and my native land, awakening us from a deep sleep. The crossing has been the Ukrainian permanent state of mind since February 24. A crossing of administrative boundaries or boundaries of the possible, a crossing of the border to invade or to escape. Does the war happen at the crossroads of cultures or does it occur when somebody crosses the line? How often a false signal crosses the right frequency? Peretyn poses silent, one-sided questions. The war gives no answers though. And this dark cross cancels freedom, destroys reality, and eliminates peace. The route of the silent hero runs through dimensional interference. Unbroken, the hero’s hope seeks to overcome the oppressors, traversing the ephemeral it comes to a formidable brama (gate) to cross the boundaries of the possible. Adapting to a new time-space continuum, the hero’s hope is still high and the calmness of field limbos offers everlasting oblivion, but tryvoga (anxiety) as an alarm whipping up hysteria and fear endeavors to break this hope. Anyway, the last poklyk (calling) as a battle cry calls the hero from the other side and the hope is reincarnated. The battle goes on. Peretyn experiments with sound textures, showing various human emotions via all sorts of signals - provoking fear and instability through heavy dissonant distortions, hope and aspiration by means of distant ringing and soft dusty textures.
