Body Armor Drill is a solo project by Matt Vellenga. This is what I feel like I'm supposed to be doing with my life and I hope some of you can enjoy some of the songs and take this journey with me. I write, perform and record all of the instruments and vocals myself. I have released my first album, "Manic," and that was a great experience. I was going through a lot in my life and it really comes through in the music. I'm very proud of this record because its just down and dirty metal and just solid through and through. I'm constantly working on writing and recording and just released my second album "Through the Pain." Its quite a shift from "Manic" and that is exactly what I'm constantly striving for. Always improving upon what I've already done. "Through the Pain" is fueled by anger and loss and driven with crushing riffs that groove and thrash through the entire album.
