Premiering in Tiësto's set at EDC Las Vegas, Sandro Silva & Quintino's "Epic" is quickly carving out a unique space for itself. The track has already made its way to Laidback Luke’s highly regarded live mix on Radio FG, earlier this month.

Created by two of dance music’s most promising new talents, this moody track does not fall short of its title’s promise. "Epic" features an ethereal classical chord progression followed by a haunting yet simple, tasteful melody. The song offers a unique blend of classic dance progressions and textures mixed with contemporary hands in the air simplicity.

Sandro Silva and Quintino are receiving recognition and support from today’s biggest DJ’s; the fresh and innovative sound of “Epic” is guaranteed to floor more than a few crowds this summer. Sandro Silva’s 2010 release “Prom Night” was featured as an Essential Choice on Pete Tong’s show and in June, Quintino collaborated with one of the biggest producers of the moment, Afrojack, bringing music fans the killer tune “Selecta.”

Played in every major live circuit set by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike this year, this huge offering from Smash the House regulars Wolfpack and German duo Warp Brothers finally gets an official release. This collaboration sees the Warp Brothers revisit their turn of the millennium classic, with help from the inimitable Belgian duo Wolfpack. With early support from the likes of Tiësto, David Guetta, Nicky Romero and Yves V, ‘Phatt Bass’ out February 15th, is sure to be one of the biggest tracks of the year.

Retaining the huge, anthemic sound of the original, but retuning and reinterpreting the track to suit the current dance music climate, Wolfpack & Warp Brother’s ‘Phat Bass’ synergises fist pumping energy with stadium sized electro house beats, culminating in undoubtedly the biggest track of the year so far.

This successful reworking of ‘Phatt Bass’ into more progressive territory, demonstrates both the enormous talents of all the artists involved, and their keen ears for current sounds and ideas. It is rare that a classic track is given such care and consideration when reimagining it for a new audience, but Wolfpack and Warp Brother’s ‘Phatt Bass’ is a shining example of how to do it right.
