This is a song about longing. Longing for a place and loved ones that are so far away, they feel like only a dream. There are no words that can describe being so deeply connected to a place on the other side of the world from you. There are no words to describe the feeling of saying goodbye to people you love and admire, and not knowing when you will see them again. So here is an attempt to capture the feeling in a song.

The Hidden Shelf is a solo musical project I am working on. 

The reason behind the name is because I have yet to share my work so far with most of my close friends. I don't care if they manage to find them at one point, but when they do, I hope for the experience to feel like they've found, at the least, an okay book or an artwork or what have you from a "hidden shelf" in a corner.
