Brazilian producer/dj Waltervelt returns to Stripped Recordings for this his third single “Special Is My Mind” which follows his two hits for us “Reborn Galactica” (2022) and last summer “Mutation Rotation”. 

Waltervelt brings his peak time dancefloor prowess which has seen favour with some the worlds top spinners, he has always been connected to art from a young age collecting cassette tapes and CDs since expressing his a love for Electronic Music which grew from listening to contemporary techno down to revolutionary artists such as Kraftwerk. A lot of effort was then put into his craft and it all came together in 2016 when James Rodrigo De Souza gave birth to his production alter-ego Waltervelt. His productions have been featured in the sets of some of the worlds finest players including Maceo Plex who was instrumental in bringing his sound to a wider audience through his Ellum Audio imprint and Solomun through his Diynamic imprint and Marc Romboy via Systematic Recordings. Waltervelt has now embedded himself in the Stripped family.

Nakadia's development as a DJ has been as unique as it gets. She bought turntables and started practicing with a very limited amount of music. Over the years she worked her way through various styles and genres, until she found deep house, tech-house and minimal influenced techno. With an open-minded approach to music Nakadia is respected by all who witness her performances, making her into the most booked female tech house DJ in Asia. She has played over 600 events in more than 300 clubs across 52 countries during the last 7 years. From major events like Sonne Mond und Sterne or Loveparade in Germany, the famous Thai Fullmoon party or Queensday in Amsterdam - or club gigs like Café d'Anvers in Antwerp, Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, Blue Frog in Mumbai or Ritual in Sardinia  – the girl from Thailand has always managed to surprise everybody and in the most positive way.

Today, we exclusively premiere Nakadia's remix of ME & her's "Lost" which also features the vocals of Billie Fountain.  This one features a rolling bassline, punctuated by eclectic synth patterns, all wrapped around a smooth, sultry vocal.  Definitely one for dark rooms!

Maksim Dark has already won some pretty influential friends over with his unique brand of groovy techno. The likes of Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Oliver Huntemann have shown support for other releases, and this release is set to solidify the standing of the young Russian in the techno scene. 'Dizziness' is well titled - its driving, pulsating groove is counterbalanced with fragments of melody and noise busts that give off a feeling of euphoric disorientation - a main room killer for sure. 'Revelation' stays on brand with yet another perfectly honed slice of techno gold - lean and pristine programming compiled with Dark’s exceptional ear for sound design make this a true weapon in the right hands. Solid Grooves has built a strong following of loyal fans over the years. Starting out as an event series, the London based brand has since achieved global success including a prevalent Ibiza residency last year. Launching as a label in 2015, it wasn’t long before Solid Grooves Records topped Beatport’s overall charts with Wade’s remix of Dennis Cruz ‘See Line’ and cemented its reputation as an infallible imprint, releasing music from names such as Kuo Climax, ONNO, David Pher and Brett Gould.

Dennis Cruz leads the way with ‘Fake’, a vocal focused track with throbbing bass, chopped up samples and infectious percussive components before Franz Costa’s ‘Kate’ blends a medley of intricate rhythmic elements for a trippy low-slung production.

The label co-founders are up next, with Michael Bibi unleashing a roaring low-end in ‘Devil’s Candy’ whilst a spoken word sample operates through, making way for PAWSA’s ‘Taking Over’ – an atmospheric house track geared for powerful subs featuring dub inspired stabs and sharp hats. Reelow then concludes the package, demonstrating his signature style with a cacophony of percussion and mesmerizing effects.
