Codename: RCRDS favourite NonRev returns with ‘Dreamstep EP’, which provides another stunning snapshot of this burgeoning artists distinctive take on fast soul music.

‘The Mist Comes Across’ kicks things off with crunchy tech breaks contrasting with dreamy atmospheric flavours for a unique roller which works equally well on dancefloors and home systems. ‘Immersive Experience’ does exactly what it says on the tin, drawing the listener away towards a deep world of beautiful pads and funky brass tones before ‘Sunshine’ takes us deeper into a dreamlike state with its haunting soundscapes and morphing leads.

A digital requiem for the spiritually disconnected. This track opens with fractured choir samples—glitching like corrupted prayers—before plunging into a bassline that feels like a server meltdown in heaven’s firewall. The drop hits like divine wrath rendered in distortion: sub-bass growls, metallic screeches, and orchestral stabs that sound like angels falling in reverse.

Midway, a distorted voice recites a corrupted scripture: “Heaven unreachable. Hell online.”—echoing through broken reverb and granular delay. FX chains mimic system crashes, spiritual static, and ritual overload. It’s brutalstep baptized in chaos, where sacred imagery is weaponized and salvation is just another corrupted file.

Next up on 4 Corners Music we welcome back ALB, who helped us launch our first ever release with the single
“Jerry’s Trip/Your Eyes’. ALB has been making waves in the scene with features on UKF, BBC Radio1 &amp; 1xtra as
well as releases on Fokuz, Soulvent, Formation &amp; more so we’re excited to have him back representing 4
Corners. 

For 4CM012 he brings us a 4 track EP entitled ‘Movements’ fresh from the Liquid corner of Drum &amp;
Bass. This release is a Beatport exclusive from 6th May and then available on general release from 20th May
2019.
Starting us off we have ‘About U’, a perfect opening track to the EP that builds beautifully with filtered stabs and a
low slung bassline working together thoughtfully - one for the heads who like the long blends. ‘Way U Do’ is next
up and continuing on with the theme of sublime production featuring harmonies that float and flutter across the
track, dancing in the moonlight whilst a war rages under the scorched earth - definitely bittersweet vibes the order
of the day here. Following that we have the title track ‘Movements’, chopped and spliced pianos adding touches
of magic throughout the track adding a touch of timelessness that will sit nicely in any Drum &amp; Bass set featuring
tracks past, present or future. Finally ALB brings ‘What U Need’, again bringing some magic to this EP with
details sprinkled throughout this track keeping things interesting and ultimately very vibesy indeed.
