Next up on our CXC catalogue, we’re happy to announce our latest release, featuring a single from the Manchester (UK) based solo artist - Dubshun. Precision engineered pace at any BPM, Dubshun creates only crystal cut tunes of the highest order.

When we stumbled upon his sound, we knew we immediately heard it was a perfect fit for Counterpoint. The accuracy, clarity and yet extremely bass-heavy production was exactly what we were looking for the next edition of the CXC series.
Dubshun is the exact definition of the CXC project, as we believe he is a remarkable new talent from whom we will hear a lot more of in the near future. Unquestionably one of the most promising artists of a new generation.

A perfect, minimalist built-in intro which won’t let you fall too long or too short into the first drop. The atmospherical sounds work together with noise distortion and crispy hats, to advertise the climax into the drop.

Deadspace is a straight up uncompromosing deep-tech roller, in which you can hear a perfect example of Drums and Bass working together in harmony together. Making use of the space in the stereo fields, the innovative drum-work plunges every listener directly into the track. Progression and dynamics are the keywords, as all the sounds coming in and out always keep creating a suspense feeling of whats coming next.

Both Muted Hue & Rift both make a return to the label via two lush cuts of liquid goodness. Both have already firmly made their marks on the Boey Roster but return to make themselves heard yet again each contributing a track to this double track single.

Crispy breaks, beautiful melodic arrangements, deep basslines with a hint of each artists signature sound on both tracks made putting this release together a no-brainer.
