Are owls too shy?

A multi-layered piece for cello and voice, commissioned for the exhibition Living Content - Under Pressure that took place at Moebius Gallery in Bucharest in September 2021. 
A texture inspired by the deep-listening of natural phenomenons which suggests the complexity of our ecosystems and the subtle voice of nature.

But A Whisper

I find myself in different fields of this Earth, quenching my thirst with the mists and streams of sound that dare to dance the dance of slow.

a flow.
a “zero” state,
no opposites.

I feel like a gymnast who finds, for a moment, perfect balance at parallel bars.

I know that when we listen to each other with empathy, clearing all judgements and opinions, we actually make space for guidance, for grace.

And when my mind starts running between noises and echoes of the past, I remember what someone once told me:
“Your humanity is your treasure”.


Oryngham, a piece for voice and baby piano, was written for the exhibition "Gems! For the Garden" by Living Content that took place at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest, in October 2023.
The title means "thank you for listening" in plant language.

This is something I do most of the time for therapy, but I don't record it. Last night I wanted to record a theme for a few seconds. 
I Guess I needed therapy.
