Well, this is our 1st new track in 2023. Just because we tend towards the gothic element, doesn't exclude our muse from handing out a wee pleasant one now and again... 'The Druid Flute' is the proverbial rough hewn woodsman, falling for the petite and lovely Faery Queen of yonder woods. The Dearg-Due (DAH-ruh-guh DU-ah) followed Brian on the streets of Inverness one wet and dreary night. Well, at least if you can believe a Scotch-Irishman after a few 'wee' drams and several pints. He said he ran until his legs gave out. We found him in the hotel pub snoring like a banshee... Cheers!

It is believed that Queen Maeve is buried standing upright and ready for battle in the hill known as 'Knocknarea', also known as 'The Hill of the Moon'. She holds vigil over the neolithic passage tombs below in Carrowmore, Ireland. This was Bogstone's first song released to the public. It remains one of Brian's best fantasy tales that he wrote on his visit to this hauntingly beautiful site.
