Simina Grigoriu and Brian Johnson both originally grew up in Toronto and recently have been working on producing a sound together while Simina has been in Toronto from Berlin. Beach Urchin EP is the first product of this duo, and the release brings together several members of BYC’s original camp including Corrupt Politicians (Alex Mastro + Brian Johnson), Sunday Savers (Fred Hatsav + Jeremy K) and Kevin Noel, with some vocal support on Bomb Chickie.
