Once in the world we wandered all,
Enslaved by sin, under usurpation;
But He chose, redeemed us
From bondage, fall,
Revealed to us His divine intention.
Now that we see His heart’s desire,
We willingly give our life entire.

O Lord, we now lay all aside:
Self-choice, own cares, and all self-love;
O Christ, the meaning of our life,
Our goal and aim, there’s none beside;
Toward the good land, we now are poised
To take, possess, Your perfect choice.

As priestly army we are formed;
To fight for Him, journey with Him, able;
Whether trouble rise up or raging storm,

Waters of death we fain would pass;
Defeat the foes: they are food for us!
