About a year ago, inspired by my favorite podcast, Blank Check with Griffin and David, I recorded a one-off episode of my old movie podcast where I covered Sam Raimi's 1995 The Quick and the Dead. It was specifically in response to a "March Madness" poll Blank Check was doing to decide which director they would cover next. 

I was gunning for Sam Raimi specifically so that they would have to cover this film, and that more people would see it. It's one of the most underrated "so bad, it's good" films, or so I thought. After rewatching it for this podcast, it got me wondering, "is this movie just plain good?" 

Sam Raimi got kicked out of that poll, so I took matters into my own hands, and covered the movie myself, since Blank Check's coverage of the film was nowhere in sight. I recorded this audio in April of 2018, and let it sit in my files for a year. 

Well, Blank Check is doing their second bracket, and just in case Sam Raimi wins this time around, I wanted to get this out there. So, I redownloaded Audacity, and edited this podcast. This was really fun to revisit and edit, and it kind of got me inspired to pick this series back up again. I might cover a favorite movie of mine from another loser of the bracket this year...
