Noods Radio | The Boiling Point Show w/ MISH & Kone [25.01.20]

The 10th instalment of the BP mix series is proud to present 'Ring Ma' @ringmabellx, taking u on a hour long trip to sooth your isolation blues. 

Ring Ma :

This dembow heavy mix is about 2 years in the making and is a result of the discovery of Bad Gyal and Florentino (neither of which are actually in the mix). Funnily enough most of the tracks included in the mix come from a 2 month discovery period before I recorded it. Set at a ravey 97bpm throughout I wanted to make space for tracks that most people would judge ‘too slow’ for sets or would just play at the start of a set to show their eclecticism. It’s been mega interesting finding out where different dembow based genres intersect with all the other dance music I’ve been listening to since I was 17, I even managed to get in some pitched Italian dream house. The plan had been to start a party based around this sound pretty much now in May with Layla aka @alya_l, but we all know what happened to the club scene in 2020 >:( Hopefully you’ll hear more of this in person from both of us some time in the future x
