Beat Heat Promo - Clubbers Flashbacks 2009 ! (Live by Boksa may 2010.) sc

He was born in (now distant) 1979. As a young boy and by mere chance, he became interested in music (at that time he didn’t know what DJ-ing was); he used his small cassette player and listened to a few radio stations that were at the time the top quality ones (radio 100, radio 202). He started playing CDs at private parties when he was 15. Three years later he became the resident DJ in the Champion café which was the best and most popular café in Kikinda at that time. On the “Beat” radio he was the author and DJ of the first radio show programme “Beat Heat” which had an enormous impact on the musical education of the young in the town and nearby. Doing this, he created the recognizable Beat Heat brand in less than a year. So far he has worked in all the important clubs, cafes, discos, all the possible and impossible places for partying in Kikinda and at the moment he is the resident DJ of the cult club “Zona razuma” which is more known as the Pub. When organizing parties, Boksa wasn’t in the habit of bringing some of the biggest and high-sounding DJ's to his parties because he isn’t of those who want to push themselves forward in that way. He always tried to promote young promising people who will surely have bright future in DJ-ing thanks to their potential. That is why Boksa didn’t work with “the big ones” but he doesn’t regret that. Still, he was the guest in clubs in other towns such as the Piping & club Amnesia in Novi Sad and the Segreto in Zrenjanin and he was a promoter DJ at some festivals. He is a great perfectionist and at performances he can’t stand mistakes, especially his own ones. His preferable equipment of work is a laptop but if others insist, he can use the CD players as well. He is horrified by DJs who allegedly work with players and then mix up bars, drop out of the mix and so on. The repertoire he plays is really wide: it is house in almost all its sub- genres (disco, funky, vocal, latin...), then afro & tribal, progressive, some variants of tech-tribal minimal and some other subgenres. He is not gloomy or an introvert and that’s why he never plays deep, slow or some dark variants (sets). The music name i.e. DJ he admires most is Mr. Roger Sanchez.
