Wutzlhofer, the newest member of Mischpoke, presents his debut EP "The Living Room". Improvising on analog synths and experimenting with field recordings adds a character and depth to his tracks. The title track encapsures a special groove through his use of analog percussion, warm woody room and deep basslines. An interesting journey develops through the continued variation and evolution of the elements used. Wutzlhofer's second track, "Black Level Shift" combines deep dubby synth shots with rewinded minor 7 chords to create a spacey melodic atmosphere. Argons remix of the 'Shift' adds a further dimension to the release. Wutzlhofer's EP isn't just about a living room, its about house.
