When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion,
We were like those who were comforted.

Then our mouth was filled with joy,
And our tongues with exultation.

Then they shall say among the Gentiles,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
We became joyful O Lord.

You shall bring back our captivity,
As the streams in the South.

Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy.
