Endless Summer #007 - September-27-2015 On Pure.FM

Originally aired February 11, 2016. The TRACKLIST is posted below the description. Some of you might know that my last SC account got purged a few months ago and I lost a lot of old mixes. A lot were sets that were recorded live but I also lost a series where I did B2B sessions in my studio with DJ friends when they were visiting LA. One of the most popular one was the one I did with NDYD's label boss Kris Santiago (@krissantiago) when he was here visiting two summers ago. A lot of people reached out to ask after the purge if this mix was still available somewhere. Well now it is! I found the original recording we did and I re-master it   and now it's EP75 of the radio show.  If you heard it before you will be glad to revisit it and if you never did well it still sounds fresh.

Next week we are back with a big special guest from Australia and I can tell you he is one of my favs and I am so excited to have him on the show. I might need a 'doctor' for this one. Christmas, you’re back! Boy oh boy have we missed you. 
We’ve missed the love, the family, the friends, the presents, the turkey, the blankets, the fires, the hugs, and the kisses. We’ve even missed the drunk uncle, the over excited kids, the home knitted presents from granny, and the awkward family portrait. Oh, did we forget to mention the presents? We’ve been really good this year, we promise.

Welcome to EP-122 of the NDYD Radio Show. This week we have a special guest mix from NDYD's friend Jørn Sørheim (@jornsorheim).

Jørn started djing in -97 and got his fist residency as a 19 year old in -99 in central Stockholm, Sweden. His main venues included places like Soap Bar, Calle P and No.18. Since then Jørn has been djing at all the major venues in Stockholm.

He is mainly influenced by legendary artists like Depeche Mode, U2, Stevie Wonder and Prince as well as a variety of modern indie artists.
Through a balanced technique where consideration for both environment and artistry and modern creativity is accounted for – Sørheim joins the old and the new in a modern cocktail of styles – handmade for the venue. In the bar – this is often represented by modern r’n’b, indie/nu-disco and deep house classics. On the dancefloor – by a more electronic clubsound.

As a DJ Jørn represents creativity through classic sounds. A creativeness primarily made through a pair of classic vinyl turntables rather than the latest in dj tech.
