You walk through the dark pre-show and take a seat under the domed screen. A dark horizon wraps around you as you recline and look up at the artificial night sky. Something is missing. The stars aren't there. Then, from a central recess, a giant electromechanical insectoid rises from the black. It's two eztremeties end in irregular spheres dotted with light. The stars appear within the hemisphe screen above you. The projector has emerged. You look up, and are surrounded by stars and sound.

This is that sound.

You lay back in your reclining seat underneath the starry dome screen of the planetarium. The show's narrator, your ship's "captain" for the tour of the solar system, has just informed you that your exploration vessel's probes are going offline one by one due to collisions with space junk. "We may experience debris," he says, as animated meteors and rocket scrap start pelting the imaginary ship's view screen. "We have to make a hard burn to escape. Hang on, this may get a little rough..."
