Inspired by the hip music duo Shankar-Jaikishan and their Music Arranger Sebastian Dsouza, Bombay Brass put their mix the song Raga Kalavati from the album Raga Jazz Style (1968) by adding a Horn Ok Please element with moving chords that dovetail with a fluid melody, packing a punch of energy with a dose of calm in the middle.

Bombay Brass is an after hours get-together of industry leading musicians fronted by a horn section led by saxophonist, Rhys Sebastian. They perform original music and and brassy interpretations of popular songs from the 1960s till today's contemporary hits with high energy. 

Their music is influenced by the fervent sounds of Mumbai's street life, similar to that of a certain New Orleans, fashioned with a contemporary edge in music writing. Together, their songs blend modern music writing with a sensation of nostalgia that defines Bombay Brass.
