Bombis Records Welcomes Fresh Talent with Mohican & Falcon's Debut EP

Bombis Records, known for its unrelenting pace and bold releases, continues to expand its roster with an impressive debut EP from Mohican & Falcon. Having already contributed memorable remixes to both Bombis and Triangle Records, it was only a matter of time before the duo stepped up with a release of their own. 'Better Get On' showcases their deep understanding of groove and progression, creating an addictive blend that cements them as ones to watch.

Here's an in-depth look at each track on this versatile EP:

Better Get On - Original Mix

The Original Mix is a masterclass in slow-burning intensity. Mohican & Falcon construct a layered soundscape that keeps listeners captivated as each new element sneaks in. A steady, swaying bassline sets the foundation, accompanied by snappy snares and carefully crafted drum programming. As the track unfolds, infectious rhythms and unexpected string accents add a cinematic feel, creating a magnetic pull that keeps dancers locked in. This is tech house that's both hypnotic and packed with movement, offering a heady ride from start to finish.

Better Get On - Alexi Delano Mix

On remix duty, Alexi Delano-a longstanding favorite at Bombis-delivers his own high-impact interpretation. Known for his extensive catalog of forward-thinking techno, the Swedish producer injects his signature sound, infusing the track with immersive FX and expertly layered textures. Delano's remix is a stomping, atmospheric rework, packed with his hallmark energy and nuanced touches. A dark, pulsing groove underscores this version, with subtle yet powerful effects that pull the listener deep into its hypnotic spell.

Better Get On - Orlando Voorn Mix

Orlando Voorn, another Bombis mainstay, brings a moody transformation with his remix. Taking things down into more haunting territory, Voorn's remix is all about depth. He intensifies the low end with a resonant, rumbling bassline and introduces eerie FX that give the track an otherworldly quality. Each beat feels like it could echo into the distance, creating a mesmerizing, shadowy groove that's perfect for late-night floors. Better Get On - Rob Pearson Mix

Rounding off the release, Rob Pearson-head of Evasive Records and a veteran of the scene-steps in with a final twist. Known for his distinctive style, Pearson takes a dirtier, rawer approach to tech house, adding a hypnotic vocal loop and layered textures to create what could be called 'dirty tech house.' His remix is densely packed, giving listeners a stomping experience that's edgy and dynamic. Pearson's production is meticulous yet gritty, delivering a closing track that's both powerful and raw.

Mastering for tracks 1, 2, and 4 has been handled by Rob Pearson at Online Studios (www.onlinestudios.co.uk), while Orlando Voorn himself took charge of the mastering on track 3. This attention to audio detail ensures that each mix resonates with the depth and clarity Bombis Records is known for.
